Date – 13th September 2015

Time – Night

Background – We decided to go out with a purpose. We had to book a clay idol of God Ganesha, to be installed on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi coming this Thursday. The plan was to visit all the booths nearby, temporarily set up for selling Ganesha idols. I was expecting to see hundreds of idols of which I had to choose only one. Thinking of it as a time-consuming job and being tired by the evening, I was little unhappy with the decision of going out at that time. I wanted to wrap that work as quickly as possible. I had lost my faith in God since last few months causing me lack interest in participating in festivals like this, totally dedicated to God. We happened to visit first booth just outside of our aisle at the corner. The idols looked divine. I liked few of them. We roam for some distance and visited this booth. I could feel liveliness within them. They looked real and there was no reason, why? All of them were handmade, amazingly crafted with the hands of believers. People who believe in God, people who keep faith in God. In presence of those lively idols, the place had transformed into a holy place. That night, those lifeless idols helped restore my faith in God once again. I went back to home in the middle of all and brought my Smartphone with me to capture the Godly images of idols. Finally, the faith reloaded and captured as well.

A message – I guess, as far as choosing is concerned, he is just like us with only difference being that he has chosen all of us over anything else. He always takes care of those who believe and keep faith in him. If even after being God he can do so then why can’t we?  Keep faith and believe for he is there to take care of you. Ganapati Bappa Moraya! 😀

PS: I will share photographs of Ganesha installed at my home very soon. Stay tuned. 🙂
